Issyk - Kul is the 2nd largest mountain lake in the world and the biggest lake in Kyrgyzstan. Moreover, we are going to show you ancient petroglyphs that refer to the 8th c. B.C. and many other places that will attract your attention.

Tour summary:
Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake
Your guide will collect you from Manas Airport and accompany you to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you will start the day with a breakfast. Then you will be transferred to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake (200 km), the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608 m.above sea level). The Lake is also called "the pearl of Central Asia". On our way, we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret from the 11th century) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). After having taken a traditional lunch, we continue our way to the lake. As soon as we are in Hotel you will have a rest on the northern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities. Your dinner will be served at 7 o'clock in the evening.
Day 2: Issyk Kul Lake - Karakol
This day starts at 8 o'clock with a breakfast. Till 12 p.m. you have time for leisure or to go swimming in the lake. Later on, you will begin your trip (200 km) to Karakol town by vehicle. On our way, we will visit ancient carvings on the boulders that dated back to 800 B.C., including the local museum of Issyk - Kul in Cholpon - Ata. During the second stop of the trip at 12 o'clock, you could enjoy lunch in a relaxed ambiance. After lunch you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat to enjoy to the full beauty of the sparkling pearl of Central Asia before continuing our way to Karakol town the northern shore. At 8 p.m. traditional dinner will be served. Overnight stay is in the guesthouse in Karakol.
Day 3: Karakol - Tamga
At 8 o'clock you will be served with your breakfast. This whole morning will be dedicated to a guided Karakol City Tour. With your guide you will visit, first of all, the Dungan - Chinese Mosque. During this excursion the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail will be highlighted. This will be followed by the visit of the old wooden Orthodox Cathedral. Later on, you will visit M.V. Prejvalsky museum. Prjevalsky was one of the world's greatest explorers, whose biggest achievements were the crossing of the great Taklamakan Desert and the discovery of more than 4000 species of animals, including the Horse that was later named after the explorer. The City Tour will be ended with a traditional lunch and we leave Karakol starting our way (30km) to the impressive Jeti Oguz at 1 p.m. Jeti Oguz is the gorge of 7 red rocks. You will see the Broken Heart Mountain and the Sanatorium (where you can take a hydro shower or get a massage session). We will explore Jeti Oguz Valley (Yuri Gagarin's holiday's house, yurts, alpine vegetation that represented here in abundance) or Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley with its hot spring water and Geophysics Station that was built in 1948. Transfer to Tamga Village. Tamga was a place where ancient Tibetan monks lived in the 13th century, but these days it is village with predominantly Russian population. In the Tamga Guesthouse, dinner will be served, there you will also spend the night; optionally you can go to sauna.
Day 4: Tamga - Bokonbaiva - Kochkorka (120km.)
Breakfast is at 9 o'clock in the morning. Till 12 o'clock you have time to relax on the southern beach of the Issyk Kul Lake or to walk around Tamga village. Then, we start our trip to Kochkorka village by car. Our route passes through Bokonbaevo village, where we will have our lunch. We will stop in the house of a local eagle-hunter (berkutchi in Kyrgyz). He hunts with the help of eagles for hares and foxes and some other animals; it is traditional way of nomads hunting. The hunting show with the birds of prey can be arranged. After that, we keep on our way via the Orto-Tokoi water reservoir to Kochkor. In the Village of Kochkor, you will visit particularly nice souvenir shop and you will see show that uncovers for you the secrets of traditional Kyrgyz felt carpets production. During this felt show you even can create your own carpet. This day traditional dinner in the local family will be accompanied with national music performance. Night is in the Kochkor guesthouse.
Day 5: Kochkor - Son Kul Lake
Breakfast. After that we start our trip to the 2nd biggest lake in Kyrgyz Republic Son Kul. We will have lunch on the way. Son Kul Lake is situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level surrounded by mountains and it is the highest mountain lake in the republic. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads of the Naryn region started to come to this wonderful area to use it as a pastureland. You will be free to explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its environs after our coming. Around the lake you will see yurt camps that are used by the nomads as their traditional habitations. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with thin felt mats. Yurts are built without nails. Dinner and overnight are in the yurts.
Day 6: Son Kul (3013m. above sea level)
At 9 a.m. is your breakfast. Spare time at Son - Kul Lake, where you will have the opportunity to explore its nature on your own. You can ride along the lake on a horse, or just relaxing in the atmosphere of the wild, but calm nature. Lunch will be served at 2 pm. Then you will see also ancient petroglyphs and ritual stones of shamans. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. National dinner will be served in original nomadic houses - yurts. As nomads do, you will spend the night in yurts.
Day 7: Son Kul - Bishkek
You will have breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then we start our trip back to Bishkek city (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). As soon as we are in Bishkek you will have a city tour including lunch. You will visit the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. You will receive a separate program, listing all places visited including a brief description. At 7 pm a farewell dinner is served. Night is in the Hotel****.
Day 8: Bishkek - Europe
You will be collected from the hotel at the time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompanied you to the Manas Airport.
