Day 1: Dushanbe
Upon arrival guide will meet and transfer you to the Dushanbe for city tour. In course of the tour you will explore the major sights of the city like Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Later on you will have a drive to 35 km to reach the famous Hissor fortress. Hissor fortress is the sight of VII-XVII centuries that has fortified areas and citadel. This sight previously served as the residence of the emissary of the Emir of Bukhara. During the tour you will see that it located on a high hill and encircled by a wall of 1 m thick as well as having loopholes for guns as well as cannons. By having a tour inside of it you will be able to witness pool and a garden as well as busy market square with a caravanserai and shops. Not much survived by now you can still see two prominent towers. While travel here you will be able to explore the recently restored monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" of 16th-17th centuries, mosque; the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" of 16th century. Later on is visiting Botanical garden and Victory Park and see a panorama view on the city. You will spend the night in a hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Seven lakes
In course of the travel you will visit the Fannsky Gory or Fann Mountains. The road will go through the Anzob pass which altitude is 3 372 meters above sea level. During a drive you will have n opportunity to witness the breathtaking panorama views. This area is famous for hiking that why many tourists like have tours here. After it you will hike to the Seven Lakes also known as Marquzor Lakes. This lake is located from 60 km south of Panjakent. While hiking you will witness amazing flora. The lakes will meet you by different altitudes as well as having different colors each. In addition you can meet there locals and learn more about culture. Night is in the hotel.
Day 3: Seven lakes - Penjakent
Today you will be transferred to Penjakent. The road to which will go via Shahriston pass that is located on the altitude of 3 378 m in the morning. The Penjakent or five villages is located in Khujand area of Tajikistan in a beautiful Zeravshan river valley. This city appeared in in the 5th -8th centuries AD at this time it was one of the most important cultural and crafts centers of Sogd. Due to it five villages received name - "Central Asian Pompeii". In course of the tour you will observe the great planned city with a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses decorated with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods and others. Nowadays you can explore these incredible remains that were found only in the last century. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 4: Penjakent - Dushanbe
Today you will travel to Dushanbe. During the way you will know that this city is located at the confluence of Varzob river and Kofarnihon river. The capital city of Tajikistan is Dushanbe. Here was found archaeological fragments of the 5th century BC. While being here you will learn that is city used to be a small village until the early 20th century. It was possible to see a large bazaar on Mondays the name of which was Dushanbe-Bazar. It is interesting to know that Dushanbe is translates from the Persian language as Monday or the second day after Saturday.
