Day 1: Ashgabat
We are happy that you chose Turkmen treasure 5. With our professional team, your tours will be on point. The guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to Ashagabat city. Today you will have the city tour and visit the parks and squares of the capital, Ertogrul Ghazi mosque, the archeological site "Nisa" It concealments the remnants of Parthian civilization, what shared the traditional art and culture with Hellenistic and Roman elements. Afterwards visit the Russian bazaar. Transfer to a hotel for rest.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Kow Ata - Nokhur - Balkanabat
The tour will start by driving to Kow Ata or Underground Lake which means Father of caves. The overall length of the cave is 230 m, its height reaches 20 m, and its width is about 57 m. The bottom of the cave is enclosed with lumps of dissolved limestone and its warm and flowing water is clear and emerald colored. The water has temperature of 33-37°C. In the second part of day we will travel to Nokhur. It is 120km - 2.3 hours. On arrival you will see a small depression valley in the mountains of the Kopet Dag Range, and the houses were built with local boulders cemented with mud. The streets are so narrow that they only just fit a small car. The Nohkuri people who live in remote mountain village are quite different to other Turkmen tribes. They live near Turkmenistan and Iran. It has a thousand or maybe two thousand people. We will drive to Balkanabat. Night is in a hotel.
Day 3: Balkanabat - Yangykala - Gozli Ata - Turkmenbashy - Awaza
Today we will drive to Yangykala. "yangikala" is translated from Turkmen as "fire fortresses". The steep cliffs of white, yellow, ocher, purple and red colors, fancily imprinted by winds and rains, look fantastic! The most beautiful view of canyons can be seen during sunset, when everything is painted in a red-hot color. Afterwards we will visit "Gozli Ata". It is a pilgrimage place. Then we will drive to Turkmenbashy and visit a tourist zone Awaza where you can rest on the shore of the Caspian Sea. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Awaza - Ashgabat
In the morning you will relax on the shore of the Caspian Sea and then drive to Ashgabat. On arrival is the city tour. Transfer to a hotel for rest.
Day 5: Ashgabat - Darwaza
In the morning you will travel to Gypjak, to see biggest mosque in the central Asia. Don't miss to visit Horse Farm. Then we will drive to Darwaza and visit the village Erbent where can be acquainted with life of the Turkmen people. On arrival to Darwaza, rest is in a hotel.
Day 6: Darwaza - Kunya Urgench - Shawat border
The tour will start by visiting architectural monuments of Old Urgench, Khorezm capital X-XII centuries. On the tour you will visit the Mausoleum of Najm al Din al Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, the highest minaret in Central Asia Kutlyg Timur. Afterwards is transfer to Dashoguz/Shawat border. End of Turkmen treasure 5. Thank you for unforgettable time on tours.
