Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley
You are brought to Bishkek city, the capital of Kyrgyzstan right after you land to the country. From the International Airport of Manas it will take you 30 minutes to get the city. Here the day starts with a breakfast. The rest of the day is dedicated to a guided Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square built in honor of the deceased in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. Then you will be transfered to the Chon Kemin valley in the Kalmak-Ashuu Guesthouse, where you are to spend the night. On the way, we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret of the 11 century) and its attached open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors dated by the 7th century). Dinner will be served at 7 pm.
Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga
Photo session to capture all the beauty of Chon Kemin Valley is after the breakfast. As soon as everything gets ready for the departure, we will go to the Tamga village, Issik-kul lake, the second largest mountain lake in the world and the biggest lake in Kyrgyzstan. On the way we will visit who is going to tell us about his birds. After it we can do some photos of the eagles. After this we arrive in Tamga, a resort town on the shore of the lake. Then we will walk in holy Manjili Ata sources. After arrival in Tamga village. Leisure time on the beach(30 min). Then beginning preparations for the trek. Accommodation in Askar and Tomara guest house (1600m).
Day 3: Tamga - Barskoon Pass (3754 m) - Jashil Kol Lake - Arabel Suu valley (5 hours)
After a wonderful breakfast we will drive to Barskoon gorge. We will go to one of the most charming valleys in the high Terskey Ala Too, there is the premier waterfall in Kyrgyzstan. From this very place, we start our trekking. We have an ascent to Dunguromo pass (3100 m) passing through which we will find ourselves in a picturesque valley Dunguromo. A couple kilometers down from the pass, we stop for the camping. Dinner will give us the chance to share with impressions of the first day. Night in tents at the altitude 3820 m.
Day 4: Arabel Suu valey - Chakalu Kol Lake (7 hours)
Today we start our day early in themorning that is at 7 o'clock. We have a vertical ascent to the Chokolu Lake through Zauka Pass. The climate is similar to that of tundra, among vegetation prevails grass. Aproaching to the lake we break our camp for the night. Night in tents at an altitude of 3800 m.
Day 5: Chokolu Lake - Zauka Pass (3720 m) - Dzhukuu gorge (7 h)
We start our trekking right after we get our belongings ready and immerse them on horses. We have to traverse the Zauka pass (3720 m) and from this top you will see hall beauty of the Dzhukuu valley. After short photo session we will descend along the gorge about 20 km and reach the foot of the Ashu Kashka Suu gorge where we set up our camp for the night. Dinner and overnight is in tents at an altitude of 2900 m.
Day 6: Djukuu gorge - Ashu Kashka Suu gorge (7 hours)
We start to put ourselves in order early in the morning and then after meal we will go further looking for new impressions and feelings. We will go along slopes that are covered with juniper and fir-tree forest. Juniper is such a unique tree for it has special root system that helps to survive in difficult nature conditions and twisted trunks protecting from wind. And finally, during dry seasons it can drop own leaves for saving wetness and water on the ground around the tree. Afternoon we will stop at the foot of Ashu Tor Pass we will set up our camp. Dinner and overnight in tents at an altitude of 2970 m.
Day 7: Ashu Kashka Suu gorge - Ashu Tor Pass (3638 m) - Jukuchak gorge (7 hours)
We hike up the gorge Ashu Kashka Suu as soon as we get prepared. Reaching the foot of the pass, we will make a short halt for lunch and then we will have to climb to the Ashu Tor Pass (3638 m). After the pass we get into the Dzhukuchak gorge where the warm mineral springs are. This is where we are given an opportunity to take a bath with termal mineral water which we all have been dreaming of for 4 days of our trek. Dinner and overnight in tents at an altitude of 2650 m.
Day 8: Dzhukuchak gorge - Orto-Bulak Pass (2900 m) - Kichi-Kyzyl-Suu gorge (7 hours)
Kichi - Kyzyl Suu Valley is where we head early in the morning after we all put ourselves in order. First we reach the territory of Issyk-Kul forestry located in the Dzhukuchak gorge. Further we have to climb to the pass Ortho - Bulak (2900 m). Then we reach the Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge where we set up our camp for the night. Dinner and overnight stay is organized in tents at an altitude of 2450 m.
Day 9: Kichi-Kyzyl-Suu gorge - Chon-Kyzyl-Suu gorge - Jili-Suu water warm springs
Having finished with breakfast we get our gear prepared and put forward in the direction of the picturesque valley - Chon Kyzyl Suu. First we have to go down the Kichi-Kyzyl-Suu gorge through the territory of forestry. Then we will go along the Djily Suu Mountains and finally we reach in Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge. From here we start entering the area of Ak-Tash. After that we go up about three miles up to the hot thermal springs where we will again be able to take a warm bath and relax. Dinner and overnight is organized in tents at an altitude of 2500 m.
Day 10: Chon-Kyzyl-Suu gorge - Ak Sai Pass (2805 m) - Jeti Oguz gorge (7 hours)
This is a last day of our trekking. As soon as we eat breakfast and get ready we move in the direction of the Jeti - Oguz gorge - one of the most popular places to visit among the guests who visited our country. First, we go down to the place of Ak - Tash, where we traverse the river Kyzyl Suu (Red River). Then we begin to overcome the pass radial Kok - Dzhayyk. The road will pass through a small pine forest, which will impress you with its silence. It seems as if the whole world looks at you and will not will you begin visiting a sense of loneliness. After the forest we will look at the Jeti Oguz gorge which impresses you for certain. After a couple of kilometers we reach the yurt camp Kok Dzhayyk where we stay for the night. Dinner and overnight in yurts at an altitude of 2300 m.
Day 11: Jeti Oguz gorge - Karakol town - Cholpon Ata - Bishkek city
The last day of our adventures in Terskey Mountains is spent for a visit to Karakol city, administrative and cultural center of Issyk Kul oblast. During the city tour in Karakol we will stop at an old Dungan Muslim mosque and old Orthodox church. At soviet time it used to be named Prajevalsky in honor of the great Russian traveler and explorer Nikolay Prajevalsky. Lunch is in Karakol after which we head to Bishkek. Overnight in Asia Mountains.
Day 12: Bishkek
Today you will have a free day to go for a walk in Bishkek city and to buy souvenirs to your relatives and friends. Also it is possible for an additional price to drive to Ala Archa gorge and to walk there. This park is situated 45 km from the capital and it is a beloved place of citizens to have a weekend. In the evening is a farewell dinner and walking on the main Square Ala Too at night to watch our new fountains with colorful lights and classic music!
Day 13: Bishkek
You are met by your guide in the morning at the pick up time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompany you to Manas International Airport.
